Roulette Reflections

I've made a few videos lately using ChatRoulette, but this is the first i've uploaded on here.

I decided to project the people on ChatRoulette back to themselves, as a critique of what weirdness they are up to, and an observation on the odd phenomena of being linked randomely with other people on the internet via webcams.

This is part of an ongoing series of videos i've felt the need to make, which I hope bring up some sociological observations and the chance diptych portraiture(in this instance) that can happen with ChatRoulette.

How I Hate The Night (For Marvin)

This video was created by databending videos of happy scenes, such as my dog running to chase his ball, The video is viewed through the eyes of Marvin, the paranoid android from The Hitchhiker's Trilogy by Douglas Adams.

The poem being read is Marvin's Poem, found in "Life, The Universe, and Everything".

Now the world has gone to bed
Darkness won't engulf my head
I can see by infra-red
How I hate the night
Now I lay me down to sleep
Try to count electric sheep
Sweet dream wishes you can keep
